Canonical identity
About WITNESS.
WITNESS Standard is an evidence-backed creator intelligence system that observes authorized signals, reconciles changes, challenges competing explanations, preserves uncertainty, explains what the evidence supports, and watches for material change.
The category
Evidence-backed creator intelligence.
WITNESS is not merely an analytics dashboard and not a generic AI assistant. Analytics can report what happened. General-purpose AI can generate plausible explanations. WITNESS is designed for the harder step between them: determining which explanation the available evidence actually supports and preserving the reasoning path behind that finding.
The promise
See what happened. Understand what it means. Know what the evidence supports.
WITNESS brings authorized creator signals into a governed evidence environment, compares changes across sources and time, tests competing explanations, distinguishes established facts from inference and uncertainty, and keeps useful findings traceable to evidence.
The protocol
Observe → Reconcile → Compare → Infer → Challenge → Explain → Watch.
The protocol prevents an answer from becoming the starting assumption. WITNESS first establishes the available signals, reconciles conflicts, compares patterns, forms an inference, challenges it against alternatives, explains the result with limitations, and can watch for evidence that materially changes the conclusion.
Creator-controlled
The creator is the protected principal.
Connected evidence exists to improve the creator's understanding and preserve accurate knowledge about the work. WITNESS is not designed to turn creator data into inventory.
Epistemic boundary
Unknown is valid.
WITNESS does not require every investigation to end in certainty. Model output cannot directly establish truth; provenance, competing explanations, limitations, and unknowns remain visible where they matter.
