Authorized signal connections

Connect evidence. Keep control.

WITNESS is designed to reason across authorized creator signals while preserving provider constraints, provenance, review state, and uncertainty. A connected metric becomes an evidence input—not automatically a conclusion.

Connector architecture

Review-gated

YouTube Analytics

Connector definitions cover channel performance such as views, watch time, average view duration, average view percentage, likes, comments, shares, subscriber gains, and subscriber losses. Monetary analytics are modeled as a separate conditional scope.

Review-gated

Facebook Pages + linked Instagram

Connector definitions cover selected Page, post, and linked professional Instagram performance under exact allowlisted permissions and provider review requirements.

Review-gated

Instagram professional account

A direct Instagram connector path models account and media performance for eligible professional accounts with explicit provider constraints.

Review-gated

TikTok

Connector definitions cover basic identity, profile totals, and authorized video-list metrics using TikTok's documented access model.

Why WITNESS treats connectors differently

Provider data has conditions.

Reporting windows can lag. Metrics can be deprecated. Permissions can change. Empty data can mean unavailable rather than zero. Resource access can expire. WITNESS connector contracts preserve those conditions so downstream reasoning does not silently flatten every provider response into equally reliable evidence.

Reconciliation

Cross-platform metrics are not automatically comparable.

WITNESS reconciles source identity, timing, units, metric semantics, provenance, and data-quality constraints before using signals together. That prevents a visually similar number from two platforms from being treated as the same observation without justification.

Control

The creator is the protected principal. Connections exist to improve the creator's understanding of the work; connected evidence is not the product.
