Start with the question, decision, or uncertainty.
Instead of asking a creator to assemble an analysis manually, WITNESS begins with what they are trying to understand: why a release underperformed, what changed in an audience, which signal deserves attention, or whether a pattern is material enough to act on.
02 — Investigate
Make the explanation answer to the evidence.
WITNESS determines which authorized evidence is relevant and applies the governed investigation protocol: Observe, Reconcile, Compare, Infer, Challenge, Explain. Source identity, timing, metric semantics, provenance, contradictions, baselines, alternatives, and missing evidence remain part of the analysis instead of being flattened into a prompt.
03 — Find
Return a conclusion that can be inspected.
A WITNESS Finding keeps the supporting observations, source evidence, counter-signals, competing explanations, limitations, confidence, uncertainty, and change conditions attached. If the evidence does not justify certainty, unknown remains a valid result.
04 — Watch
Keep important understanding alive.
A Watch persists a material question or Finding so new evidence can be compared with the prior state. Outcomes, new signals, changing baselines, or contradictory observations can strengthen, weaken, or reopen the conclusion without forcing the creator back into another manual dashboard sweep.
